Although I rarely eat them, and I never eat them rare, sometimes I have a burger with intention. These are the days when I wake up and decide (or decide the night before) that “I will eat a burger today.”
Recently, one of those days involved the new Spicy Slaw Cheeseburger from Back Yard Burgers. I do like spice, and I am a big fan of adding slaw to sandwiches and burgers, but must say that I was not impressed with this burger.
First of all, the spice is not right. It’s just not spicy to me. It seemed like the slaw was drenched in buffalo sauce, like a buffalo slaw soup, and then plopped on my cheeseburger. Furthermore, the coldness of the slaw prevented the cheese on my burger from melting its best.
